About the College

Government College, Bharmour is situated in the historic and tribal region of Bharmour in District Chamba, Himachal Pradesh. Nestled amidst the scenic Himalayan ranges, the college plays a significant role in providing accessible higher education to students from remote and tribal areas.

Affiliated with Himachal Pradesh University, the college offers undergraduate programs in Arts, Science, and Commerce, along with skill-based and value-added courses aligned with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The institution is dedicated to academic excellence, character building, and holistic development. It serves a large number of first-generation learners, especially from Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities and economically weaker backgrounds. Eligibility Criteria for Admission

• Must have successfully completed Class 12 (10+2) from a recognized board or council.
• For admission to the Commerce stream, the applicant should have studied relevant subjects in senior secondary school and meet the required percentage as per university norms.
• Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC and other reserved categories are eligible for relaxation as per prevailing Government of Himachal Pradesh and University rules.

Admission Process

2. Uploading of Documents:
   • Class 10 & 12 Mark Sheets and Certificates
   • Passport-sized Photograph
   • Proof of Identity (Aadhaar or equivalent)
   • Himachali Bonafide Certificate (if applicable)
   • Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable)
3. Merit List Publication: Merit list prepared based on 10+2 academic performance and seat availability.
4. Document Verification & Fee Payment: Original documents verification followed by fee submission.
5. Confirmation of Admission: Admission granted after completion of all formalities.
